Lindsey Vonn’s Sister Saves Her From Red Carpet Wardrobe Malfunction At ESPYs

Lindsey Vonn turned heads on the ESPYs 2025 red carpet, but a sudden gust of wind nearly caused a wardrobe malfunction until her younger sister, Karin Kildow, quickly stepped in to help.

The 40-year-old Olympic skiing legend arrived at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood wearing a daring strapless gown from Elisabetta Franchi’s Fall 2025 collection.

The bold eggplant-colored dress featured a dramatic thigh-high slit that reached up to her midsection, showing off a visible thong strap as part of the edgy design.

While posing for photographers, a breeze lifted the flowing gown a little too much, accidentally exposing more than expected.

Thankfully, Vonn’s 36-year-old sister, Karin Kildow, was close by and immediately helped her adjust the dress and avoid a major fashion mishap.

Despite the close call, Lindsey Vonn looked flawless throughout the evening. Her glowing skin, soft waves parted to the side, and radiant makeup completed the elegant look.

She accessorized with bold statement earrings from David Webb Jewelry, a black clutch, and matching plum platform heels.

Later in the evening, the former ski champion changed into a show-stopping silver beaded fringe dress with a sheer skirt, another standout piece by Elisabetta Franchi, priced at $1,850.

The second look was perfect for the awards ceremony, where Lindsey Vonn was nominated for Best Comeback Athlete.

Although the award went to gymnast Suni Lee, Vonn’s style definitely made her one of the night’s most talked-about stars.

After the event, Lindsey Vonn was spotted dining at Craig’s in West Hollywood alongside Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader, who wore a sleek white Saint Laurent slip dress.
