Kanye West Declares ‘War’ On Kim Kardashian Over New Song With Daughter North And Diddy

American rapper, Kanye West has clashed with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, threatening legal action over their daughter North West’s name and involvement in his new song.
Kim Kardashian is reportedly upset after Kanye featured their 11-year-old daughter in a track alongside embattled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing serious legal troubles, including allegations of sex trafficking.
The song, titled *LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE*, premiered on Kanye West’s X account over the weekend, sparking backlash and legal threats.
The track opens with Diddy’s voice thanking Kanye for his support as he awaits trial, followed by a brief verse from North, where she raps, “When you see me shining, then you see the light.” Diddy’s son, Christian “King” Combs, also appears on the track.
According to sources, Kim tried to stop the song’s release by sending cease-and-desist letters and requesting an emergency hearing.
Although Kanye initially agreed to delay it, he eventually went ahead with the release.
Tensions escalated further when Kanye West shared—and later deleted—screenshots of a heated text exchange with Kim Kardashian.
In the messages, he reportedly warned, “Amend it or I’m going to war.”
Kim allegedly responded by asserting her copyright rights over North’s name and taking legal steps to prevent her association with the track.
Insiders say North recently visited Kanye’s studio to record her part, with Kanye promising that the song would help launch his upcoming Sunday Service revival.
Kim, who has been studying law, is said to be doing everything in her power to protect her children, reportedly asking a judge to limit their exposure to Kanye’s public controversies.
This latest dispute adds to the ongoing public drama between the former couple, who share four children.
Meanwhile, Diddy remains in legal trouble, having been denied bail multiple times after being arrested in 2024 on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. He maintains his innocence, and his trial is set for May 2025.
